AMAZING food and service!!! Worth a road trip! I've never been disappointed by any food I've tried! My favorites are the burnt ends salad and the blackened chicken pasta!

Great food, good service, more alcohol selection would be nice. Covid restrictions in place for safety.

Excellent Excellent food! For appetizers we ordered the onion rings and skinny dippers. Both were fantastic. Sometimes it can be hard to find good thin sliced onion rings that aren't too greasy and that's exactly what I found here! Skinny dippers were also good but maybe a little on the dry side? Topping with melted cheese and bacon I think would fix that. For my entree I ordered the Smoked Brisket Mac and Cheese. Creative and very tasty. However, $17 feels like a lot for it even with the generous portion. Overall great food, decor, and atmosphere. Most things on the menu seem a little over priced so take that into consideration when dining here- it's not going to be a cheap bill.

I stopped here for a light lunch while driving through Eureka on a trip. From the outside it's not much, but their offerings look pretty good. They have a menu special for lunch time and it was hard to pick what to get, it all sounded so good! I wasn't too hungry, so I went with the French onion soup, mandarin salad, and cheese curds. The special ranch they use with the cheese curds was great, along with everything else! I'm in Peoria often for work, so I may have to stop in Eureka again to try one of their dinner entrees and see how those are!

Just what we were looking for! A jewel in the small town of Eureka, Illinois not far from Peoria. Don't be fooled by the exterior. The restaurant doesn't look like anything special from the outside but a crowded parking lot on a Tuesday evening should be your first clue. Even the inside - it's comfortable, but not fancy. My husband had two different craft draft beers - especially liking the "oatmeal" dark one (which is surprising since he generally prefers light beer). As an appetizer we devoured a very generously-sized half order of onion rings which were hot, perfectly spiced, thin strips of lightly battered deep fried onions. Next we both selected fresh salads - hubbies was a Caesar, mine a garden salad. The dressing on mine was what made it standout - a light sweet basil vinaigrette, oh my it was delicious! The accompanying bread was ok. Then our entrees and sides were delivered (by now we are both stuffed!) Hubbie had a Parmesan Talapia with a side of homemade coleslaw. I had a creamy basil sauce on linguine with blackened chicken and grated Parmesan. Both were prepared perfectly! (We were so busy eating, I forgot to take pictures of these.) The waitress, Jess, was just what we like in a server - attentive, but not hovering. The owner/chef even stopped at our table to greet us, thank us for coming, and asked if everything was to our satisfaction. We will definitely be back - the menu had so many yummy sounding entrees we're looking forward to trying. We also thought this would be a great place to bring out-of-state guests that come to visit!
